On Friday the 16th of June, the ‘New Zealand Schools Japanese Trivia Competition was held for Year 7-10 students of Japanese in Christchurch at Cashmere High School

17 teams from 8 different schools across Canterbury competed against each other in a series of topic based cultural trivia quizzes.

Hornby High School was well represented by a dynamic team of Year 10 students, which included Udhay, Aaron, Joshua and Adrian, who managed to place 6th in a very strong field.

A great time was had by all with numerous and delicious Japanese snacks and other prizes given out, and everyone went home happy.
