Summer Sports
2020 summer sports have kicked off with a huge bang.
Hornby High School has entered 6 teams in the Volleyball Canterbury Sport Competition.
We are lucky and grateful to have ex Hornby High School student Anna Pohatu and coaches Latiah Mataese, Andy Reid, Vinnie Wallace who continuously support Hornby High School Volleyball Teams.
We have also entered 2 touch teams and 4 indoor football teams in Wednesday competitions.
Thank you to Hornby High School boys coach Mr Heath and girls coach Mrs Johnson who coach indoor football and outdoor football throughout the year. We appreciate all your time and commitment.

These players will be representing Hornby High School at the Canterbury Touch Tournament held at Sheldon Park, Belfast on Saturday 22nd February. Come one, come all, let’s get behind our boys and support them.
Girls Project: Girls from Year 8-12 who would like to participate in girls activities, come see Whaea Kana in the gym office.
Let Her Play Rugby - This is a rugby exposure and skills program for girls. This program is targeted at females between 13 – 18 years old. If this sounds like you, come see Whaea Kana in the Gym office
