Hornby High School sent a contingent of 21 athletes to this event and had a very successful day with five students gaining placings and numerous others making finals.
Students to gain placings in their final were:
- Driaan Meintjes 1st in Discus
- Yarny Williams 1st in 60m
- Richie Tupuailei 1st in shot put & 3rd in 200m
- Genica Chan 3rd in 60m
- Year 8 boys' relay team finished 3rd.
