Insights and Inspiration from a former All Black

On Friday last week, we had the privilege of welcoming Greg Feek, famously known as All Black 987, who volunteered his time to discuss life after school and the importance of having a "Plan B," even if your dream is to become a professional sportsperson.

Greg was relatable, discussing work ethics, the importance of structuring your week, mental well-being, and the crucial roles of nutrition and getting enough sleep. He frequently emphasised the message "Reach in, Reach out," encouraging students to reach out for help and to reach out and help others.

Greg also stressed that if you truly want something you need to be disciplined to follow through. Another key message was the importance of believing in yourself and surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals who share similar passions. Feedback from students indicated that they enjoyed Greg sharing his life experiences and relatable examples. His advice had a significant impact on their perspectives and goals. We are very grateful for his inspiring visit!
