Reports – All Levels – Available on the KAMAR Portal in Week 10

Teachers are currently completing reports for students at all levels. This is a ‘Values’ report for students in Years 7-10 and a full report for students in the senior school. When completed, the reports will be placed on the KAMAR parent portal and can be viewed, downloaded and printed from there. We expect the reports will be available on the portal in the last week of this term.

Students in Years 7-10 will receive a full report at the end of Term 4.

The KAMAR Portal can also be used to check attendance, NCEA credits, personal details and much more. This should be a regular place to check for all parents.

Paying NCEA Fees

The time for paying NCEA fees at school has passed, however you can still pay the fees online. If you would like to do this, log on to your student’s NCEA account on the NZQA website and there is a secure facility to pay by EFTPOS or credit card. At this stage there is no penalty but the late fee of $50.00 will be applied for any payments after 1 December.

Financial Assistance

Although you can no longer pay the NCEA fees at school, you can still apply for Financial Assistance if you qualify by either being on a benefit or having a community services card. There are forms available at the office for you to fill in and leave with us.

Term 4 Arrangements

For senior students the start of Term 4 is a very busy time. There are only three weeks of class time, ending on 2 November. All internal assessment needs to be completed by this time.

Senior Prizegiving is on Monday 5th November and senior students will be dismissed from school on Tuesday 6th November after the senior leavers’ assembly that morning.

NCEA exams begin on Thursday 8th November.

Senior students who have not completed internal assessment requirements will be required to stay back at school until the work is done. The dean will advise arrangements.

NCEA Exam Information

Students sitting exams will be given their entry slips and exam timetable and other information on the day they leave – Tuesday 6th November. Students who would like to check the exam timetable earlier than this can easily find the exam timetable on line – just google NCEA exams 2018 and there will be multiple links. Deans will also distribute this information. It is never too early (or too late) to begin studying!
