Year 7 - 9 Tīeke Dean's Report

Liisa Callard —

Kia Ora, Talofa, Malo E Lelei, Kia Orana, Kamusta, Hei

And that’s a wrap – well almost!  How much can you pack into one year?  New beginnings, friendships, classes, rostering home, google meets, and everything else in between.  A time to reflect on what has been and to celebrate the achievements no matter how big or small of our tamariki.  It has been an honour to work along side the Tīeke students and watch the growth that has been made and the connections formed.  As we fast approach the final assemblies, it’s also good to remember that expectations remain the same. Our CARR values are still at the forefront of all we do, and programmes of work are still being taught.  For our Year 9s moving on we wish you all the best for the next chapter in your learning journey and remind you that we are only a classroom away.  For the Year 7 and 8s moving up, we look forward to what the new look 2023 will bring and know that you will rise to the challenge in the calm and confident manner you strive to show.

To Miss Birtch, Mr Collins, Mr Taylor and Whaea Raewyn – what a ride it has been! I am in awe of what you do and have loved every minute of the blood, sweat, and tears we have invested in all we have done. I wish you the safest of breaks and a relaxing festive season,  whatever that is going to look like for you and your whānau.

Hyvӓӓ Joulua (Merry Christmas in Finnish)
