Cody Weastell, Saia Hia and Lily Knight working on their house lighting design in Year 7 Science.
Rania Kaskar, Iris Taramai and Louvel Tabuena on a visit to Rutherford's Den in the old Arts Centre in Central Christchurch. They are wearing very heavy lead-lined aprons as worn by scientists for protection when experimenting with radiation. The Year 12 Physics students were on a trip to the University of Canterbury, where they measured the penetrating ability of Beta particles through slices of carrot and looked at opportunities for university study when they complete their Year 13 studies next year.
