Year 10-12 Tīeke Dean's Report

Oscar Richardson —

Kia Ora Koutou whānau of Tīeke Kāhui, Three weeks down and I can say we are well into Term 2. I hope everyone had an enjoyable school holiday and found themselves getting back into this term.

Coming up this term is the famous Boyle River Year 10 camp. Tīeke Year Tens will be going during week 8 of this term with senior student leaders, other staff and me. This is an amazing opportunity that we are all looking forward to. If you have any questions regarding this please let me know.

Tīeke students are focusing on following some of our simple school rules this term. They are doing an excellent job at wearing the correct uniform, with socks that cover their ankles and no non-regulation items. There has been a huge improvement in getting to school before 8:30am. However I would like to ask all whānau to help our learners to get to school by this time as there are still a large number of students late every day.

If students are going to be late or absent, could caregivers please take the time to email or ring in to student reception or complete the absentee on our school app.
