Level 2 Geography

Jan Handley —

On 20 March 2018 Level 2 Geography went on their annual trip to Helicopter Hill. The trip involves walking up the hill and collecting data on soil, vegetation, height of trees and relief.

It was a beautiful warm day and even though the hill is a little steep at times, everyone made it to the top in good time, collecting data and information on the way. This data will be used for their NCEA research project.
On the way home we called in at Castle Hill as this was the first trip to this area for many of the students. A great day out with a group of great students.
