After an initial career in midwifery, I retrained to become a counsellor.

I recently completed a masters in counselling through the University of Canterbury. I have had experience in two other Canterbury high schools, and a local community counselling centre, before coming and working at Hornby High School at the beginning of this year. I use practices from solution focused and also ACT modalities. I love working with the young adults in our school! In my spare time I enjoy walking the hills and spending time adventuring with my husband and two children.
