Another successful year for the students who worked hard to prepare their scenes for the SGCNZ University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival.

Thank you to Mrs Anne Howison who created some beautiful brocade coats to enhance the costuming and to Mrs Joanne Clark who accompanied the teams.

Mason directed and performed in a 5 minute scene from 'Macbeth' which featured Kaiden as Banquo and Alex as the Witch ably supported by Meagan, Oliver and Neveah with Ebony Shepherd. They received an award for Most Evocative imagery.

Sam directed and performed in a 15 minute scene from 'As You Like It'  which was awarded Best Use of Physical Comedy. Crew was Molly and performers were Jessica, Meagan, Sofia and Nadia. Nadia was awarded Best Lead Actor for her role as Rosalind.

Nadia also directed a 5 minute scene from 'The Tempest' with the whole Year 9 Drama class. Everyone got to experience using physical theatre to create a storm and we submitted their performance on film.
