This year students showed interest in both indoor and outdoor cricket formats. Indoor Cricket was offered during break times in the school gym throughout the year and we also entered a team into the Thursday afternoon girls competition at Hagley Park in Term 1.
It is the first time for many years that Hornby High School has entered a school team into a mid week competition. It was a great experience for the girls who showed steady improvement throughout the competition.
We look forward to seeing cricket interest and opportunities develop in 2019.
