What is a Stars Mentor?

Is it just attending weekly sessions with the Year 9’s? Or simply a task needing to be fulfilled for an achievement? For me, being a Stars mentor is all about encouraging the future generation to become more enticed with their ideas. For me this started when Emmanuel, a former Stars mentor of mine, would simply smile back at me. It gave me courage, motivation, and influenced me to do the same. I believe that being a mentor needs alot of patience and skills to become the best version of yourself. A simple smile can give someone happiness, and it is contagious.
