Hornby High School has had another successful season of netball. We had 3 teams playing in the Canterbury Sports weekly competition.

Our social mixed netball team finished top of their table and our junior team finished 3rd in their grade. The senior team finished 1st going undefeated all season. 

Our junior girls' netball team played in the South Island Secondary Netball Tournament held at the Hagley Courts and our senior girls' team played in the South Island Secondary Netball tournament held in Nelson. 

Our Senior A netball team prepared themselves extremely well, training 3 times a week. They showed commitment and respect. It was a great opportunity for all of our players to participate at the South Island Secondary Netball tournament. The girls played really well.
