This year we had a small but dedicated team of shooters both new and more experienced. The weekly training session with Bill Drayton went well and the students continually improved.

Some of the students have joined the club and attend several times a week. This has helped them improve considerably over the year. Samantha Whitcombe has at times come away with scores of 99. Sam was also part of the Canterbury Smallbore Rifle Shooting team. 

A number from the team also attended a weekend tournament at Rangiora and came away with valuable insight on team events. This is a fantastic group of students who are passionate about Rifle shooting.
