Kia ora koutou and welcome to 2023!

I am Tracy Allan-Fletcher and I am the junior dean for Tīeke 2023. This year has already been incredibly busy but I am enjoying getting to know your young people. Can you believe it's week 5 already?

I have been at Hornby High School for 6 years now but I have been based in Riroriro for the last few years so it's a big change for me to transition to the red kāhui! I'm loving it though! Our new students are settling in well and finding their feet. It's a lovely feeling in the kāhui during wānanga time. The junior classes have settled well into the start of year testing and it is great to see so many students working hard to complete the tests to their absolute best.

So many of our students are wearing our school uniform with pride. If, for any reason, your child has a piece of incorrect clothing, please send a note to school. Chromebooks are also required for many classes. If you are facing challenges getting one, please get in touch. There are several options available to you.
