History at Hornby High School

Albert Wilson —

Year 12 and Year 13 History classes went to Tūranga Library in town. It's an amazing resource to have and our students were amazed at what they found for their research assessment.

The Year 11 class will head there Thursday 18 March.

Also on Sunday our Year 13 History class is heading down south to Arrowtown as part of their research on the Otago Goldmines. Keep an eye on our school Facebook page to see what the class is getting up to.

Thanks to Teacher in Charge of History, Jane Turner for organising this amazing opportunity for our learners. She is also preparing dinners for the Year 13 class to take with them! What a star!
