This year, the Calculator Competition was held on Tuesday, the 30th of May at the Aurora Centre at Burnside High School.

Kia Ora Te Whānau. As the colder weather has approached us it is a good opportunity to mention the uniform expectations for Hornby High School.

Last week, Mrs Allan-Fletcher chose us (Amber, Shanaya and Susie) to attend the National Young Leaders Day. We all really enjoyed going and learned so much from the speakers who shared their stories and experiences.

On Tuesday 7th of June, 9 senior Japanese students from Hornby High School attended the annual NCEA Japanese workshop held at the University of Canterbury.

Congratulations to the following Yr 7&8 students who have 100% attendance for 2023 so far. This is a great achievement. We hope you enjoy your Hub voucher and book.

The Horomaka 1st XV will be playing at Hornby High School on Saturday at 1pm against St Bedes 2nd XV . Come on down and support the boys!

On Wednesday 10 May Level 1 and 2 Geography went on their annual research trip to the beach.

We are raising money for Malawi in particular and hope to provide them with fresh, clean water.
