The guiding whakatauki for the day was He aha te kai a te rangatiri? He kōrero, he kōrero, he kōrero! (What is the food of a leader? It is conversations!)

The students listened to a number of inspirational speakers including Sala Tiatia, Ronnie Taulafo, Dr Lehan Stemmet and Lucy Gray (a 12 year old who organised the Christchurch Climate Change Protest). 

They all shared messages about listening to lead and the importance of having conversations. 

We finished the day listening to New Zealand musician Kings.
