Koru Care Visit to Los Angeles

Kelly McNicholl —

During October, three of our students were lucky enough to go to Los Angeles on a trip with Koru Care. They had a packed itinerary which included a visit to Disneyland and California Adventure, Universal Studios, Knott’s Berry Farm, SeaWorld, and a game hosted by the LA Kings when they played against the Coyotes and a number of different activities.

"Koru Care" is an Air NZ charitable organization based in New Zealand that aims to fulfill the dreams of seriously ill and disabled children. The organization arranges travel and experiences for these children.  There was 11 carers, 1 doctor and 22 young people from throughout Christchurch supporting the students.  Our Students had a great time and will have these memories forever.  Thank you Koru Care!!!
