Digital Blueprint Launch

Gary Roberts —

Last Friday ...

The Digital Inclusion Blueprint was launched last Friday at school by the Hon Dr Megan Woods.

"The vision: that all of us have what we need to participate in, contribute to, and benefit from the digital world."

A number of dignitaries attended the launch including Pat Snedden (Manaiakalani Education Trust Chair), Paul James (Government Chief Digital Officer), Inland Revenue and National Library.

As part of the Uru Mānuka Cluster, Hornby Primary was chosen for the launch in acknowledgement of the successful Manaiakalani Programme we are implementing and the significant impact it is having on accelerating student progress and achievement. 😀

Rūma Toru welcomed our guests onto school grounds with a beautiful waiata - our guests were very impressed!

Susie, Quaid, Michaela and Draved shared their experiences of Learn Create Share and how chromebooks support their learning with Minister Woods after the official ceremony - she was very impressed indeed, well done pupils!
