Hi my name is Katrina. I am putting my name forward for the board for Hornby Primary School because I haven't done it before and thought it would be great to have a go at something different.

My 12 year old daughter Danielle is year 8 at Hornby High School, and Danielle went through Hornby Primary School before going to Hornby High School. She had her birthday in March.

My 10 year old son Kayden is year 6 at Hornby Primary School and he is going to Hornby High School with Danielle next year. He’s 11 this year in August

My 5 year old son Liam is year 1 at Hornby Primary School so I have a few years left at Hornby Primary. He’ll be 6 in a few weeks in June.

I started when Danielle was 5 in 2012, then near the end of 2013 with Kayden, then my latest in the middle of 2018 with Liam.

I have seen great things happen at the school since I joined and would love to continue to help Hornby Primary School with new exciting projects in the future.

I think I am an easy going person to talk to and hope people feel they can talk to me about any issues they may have.

I’m also a parent help at the school, I help with school trips and lunch club and with winter sport in term 2-3.
