Whaea Heather
Exciting news for Whaea Heather, but sad news for us...
It was with sadness and reluctance that the Board of Trustees accepted Whaea Heather's resignation at the last board meeting. Heather has decided to join the Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Whānau Tahi staff which is a complete immersion Māori kura.
Heather has been a long standing and highly valued member of the Te Māhuri Mānuka Hornby Primary staff. She has been the leader of Te Puna o te reo and also the leader of the senior team. Heather has held the Kahui Ako (our cluster of schools) across school lead position for digital technology and is a leader of learning. Heather is an expert teacher who values best practice and ensures that she is constantly striving to create an environment where all students can achieve their best possible outcomes. We will miss Heather's kindness and constant support. Te Whānau Tahi are lucky to be getting her on their team!
Heather will leave us at the end of this term.
