A wonderful group of musicians joined us on Wednesday to explain their instruments and demonstrate their talents.

The school had a treat on Wednesday with a visit from 5 musicians from the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. They entertained us with a variety of pieces and then explained each of their different instruments. It was a very educational time and a few lucky children were selected to conduct and try out the instruments. 

We all learnt about how sounds could be formed in different ways. It was a brilliant demonstration especially since our focus this term is the Performing Arts!
