What is the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ)?

The Summer Learning Journey was created in response to concerns about the annual drop in literacy achievement by students in New Zealand schools over the summer holidays. 

It is a free digital activity programme for school students in Years 4-9 who have individual blogs. It was designed to encourage students to continue their learning over the summer holidays through a range of fun activities designed to engage and excite students.
