Learn, Create, Share.

Abigail Burr —

This week in Kawariki, Rūma 2 we have been focusing on learning how to write a descriptive piece of writing.

We have achieved this by using adjectives and writing about our senses to add detail.

We have been creating in a variety of different ways to support our learning, we are using sketcher skills to add detail to our writing and continuing to post on Seesaw to show the community and whānau.

Our art project this term is to create an under the water environment by using a paper plate and blue wool. We have shown resilience by threading wool through a paper plate to create the illusion that our sea creature is in the water. This has been a long process, as we have added to the mahi every day for the past week.

Through creating, the students have been able to learn a simple threading technique and gain a reliesent attitude.

We share our work through various platforms like our Seesaw blog.
