In Room 5 we have been learning about what plants need to grow.

We knew that they needed water but we didn’t know how they got the water. We put some flowers in coloured water and discovered that the water is sucked up through the stem.

We created magical daffodils by putting them into different coloured water.     💐

We have also been learning how to grow plants from seeds,

We have ‘little garden’ pots and they are starting to grow.

We will create a little garden at school and will also be able to share these plants by taking some home.    🌼
