Dance Algorithm

This week in Room 11 we have been focusing on learning what an algorithm is and how to write one. An algorithm is a list of steps or code that is often used with a computer.

In groups of three, we have been creating a basic algorithm of a dance. Each member of our group was either a programmer (the person who writes the algorithm), a tester (the person checking the instructions actually work in the way the programmer intended) or the bot (the person who pretends to be the robot that follows the instructions. We used Google drawing and symbols to represent our commands and create one of our own. Once we had compled creating our dance algorithm we filmed our dance on iPads.
