The Hororata Community Trust has launched its new online community hub.

The Hororata Community Trust is proud to launch its new online community hub website. This project has been 12 months in the planning and has been made possible with funding from Lottery Community and Pub Charity.

The Trust recognized the need to open up possibilities for our community online and give community groups access to digital tools. The online hub will:

• allow for greater promotion of local opportunities
• raise the profile of local groups and provide them with the digital tools they need
• enable more collaboration across this large rural area
• assist with the promotion/management of community-led events
• increase promotion of the district’s heritage to a wide audience
• enable the growth and help manage the HCT major events the Hororata Highland Games and Hororata Glow Festival

The online hub will be forever evolving and adapting to meet our community's digital needs. 

The Trust strategic partners, De Vries Design, Duncan Cotterill, Grasslands, Southfuels and operational partner EAL Agriservices also made this project possible with their continued support.
