Getting to the Glow

The Hororata Glow Festival is held in the Hororata Domain. There are two roads leading to Hororata.

The Hororata Domain comes up when searched in Google Maps.

You can travel to Hororata via Bealey Road or via Darfield. While the Darfield route may seem slightly longer the traffic often flows better from this direction as there is no roundabout.

With over 10,000 people coming to the festival expect traffic to be heavy and travel times longer the usual. The car park will close to incoming traffic at 6pm to allow us time to prepare for the exit.

We have a new traffic management plan which hopefully will help traffic flow smoother. Our advice is to plan to come early and stay til the end to avoid sitting in traffic!

Below is an overview car park map. There is no parking on the road. There will be plenty of volunteers in the carpark so once you get to Hororata please follow their directions.
