Tuning Into Talent at Our School

Last year we introduced music lessons here at school with the Malvern School of Music.  The sessions run on Tuesday mornings see twelve ākonga/ students learning keyboard, guitar and ukulele.  These lessons are paid for by parents, with the school’s role being to provide the time and space for the lessons to take place.  We have partnered with the Malvern School of Music and elected to offer classes during school time to break down the barriers for tamariki to learn music.

A Big shout out to Molly, Jack, Thomas, Uno, Sabina and Chevelle who all performed as part of the orchestra at the Malvern School of Music concert at Darfield High School on Sunday 14 September 2025…. We look forward to a repeat performance at the Christmas Celebration later this year.

Applications for the 2026 programme will be open in term four... watch this space!
