One of the hardest parts of our school role is addressing poor driving, inappropriate parking practice and disregard for road rules by a very small group of our parents.

To celebrate our Hukanui Heroes for term 1 we have created a movie. As we no longer have a hall, we wanted to acknowledge this in a fun way. Please enjoy this celebration with your family. Hukanui Heroes demonstrate the attributes and values we want our tamariki to model or aspire towards. There are 5 Hukanui Hero values; Connector - Whakawhanaungatanga, Guardian - Kaitiaki, Nurturer - Whāngai, Communicator - Kaikōrero and Explorer - Kaihōpara. The following names are students who have consistently modelled these during term 1. Congratulations to all, you are Hukanui Heroes!
