Held alongside our school Bell Tower, our local community will commemorate Anzac Day together.

The Wellington South Community Anzac Service will be at 12.30pm, 25 April at Island Bay School by the bell tower. It's a lovely commemoration with the Last Post played on a bugle, the tolling of the bell, and laying of wreaths under the bell tower by various community groups. All are welcome to come along.

People are invited to meet on the grass at St Hilda's Anglican Church (311 The Parade) at 12pm and parade down the footpath to Island Bay School with a bagpiper leading the way from 12.15pm for a 12.30pm service start at school.

Light refreshments will follow the commemoration in the school hall.
