The old hall site is being developed so that the children can have a GaGa Pit.

GaGa is a type of dodgeball that is played in a gaga "pit". The game combines dodging, striking, running, and jumping, with the objective of being the last person standing. Players hit the ball at each other with their hands, and are eliminated if the ball strikes them on or below the knee.

At a recent school camp the children and teachers fell in love with the game and is now at the top of the list! It's great to have another activity to promote physical activity as well as develop balance in children's fair play and competitiveness. 

Vicky Taggart has got the Men's Shed involved and they will construct the pit after Brad's crew from Suburban Earthworks have finished.
