Congratulations to:

Eden Russell who gained her full teacher registration earlier this year, this is issued at the end of the first 2 years of teaching. Eden was presented with a certificate in recognition of this by the local branch of the teachers' union NZEI, at a ceremony on Monday night.

Rachel Simmonds who has been awarded a study scholarship to enable her to study Te Reo Màori full time in term one 2019. This is wonderful for Isleworth and Rachel will return in term 2 ready to support children and teachers with their Te Reo. Mrs Deb Jackson will teach in Room 4 for term 1.

Farewell to: 

Lisa Murray. Lisa has won a senior position with responsibility for physical education at Christ the King School. Congratulations Lisa. Mrs Elizabeth Crampton will teach in Room 2 for term 1 until a new appointment is made. She will then return to Team Awa as the numbers grow.

Sarah Marsden. Sarah, who has been one of our wonderful support team, has won a full time job at Stand for Children, she was previously working part time there as well as at Isleworth. Best wishes Sarah.
