NumberWorks’nWords has been nominated by Ngai Tahu iwi authority, as an accredited provider of tuition (Maths and English) for some years now.  It can be used for children who need extension, or those who need a boost of confidence or remedial work.

Ngai Tahu iwi will pay for one term of tuition (usually ten weeks) paid to the value of $470 plus GST ($540.50) each financial year.

To qualify for this grant….

- Children must be 8 years or over and registered with Ngai Tahu.

- Approval for tuition is granted by the Ngai Tahu Learner Support Fund Administrator (Awhina Scott) upon receipt of an application form filled in by the child’s parent or guardian – prior to the term for which the grant is applied for.
