Latest news from the Board.

As you know we have had a few changes to the current Board of Trustees.

Firstly, we thank Sarah Stembridge for her role on the Board.  Sarah's resignation from the Board left a casual vacancy which has now been filled by selection.  The Board has selected Jason McDowell.   

A reminder that next year is a Board Election year.  A great opportunity for anybody who has been thinking about how they can help in the governance of the school.  

Policy Review - Last week we held a whānau hui to review some of the school policies.

Thanks to those of you who attended and provided feedback about the content of the policies and how well they are implemented.  

Some of the feedback was around communication methods, those being the newsletter and use of the school app.  We have tidied up some of the administration at our end and hope that you will be having a better 'user' experience at your end.  The calendar function on our school app is up and running and it should be easier to access the information at the push of a button.  Please ensure that you are subscribed to your child's classroom.  The use of our Facebook page is to reach a wider audience so our preference for communicating directly with you is via the school app.
