It was exciting to hold our second Math Olympiad, where 4 students from each waka compete to answer 20 math questions. It is not as easy as it sounds! With a cheering audience, it applies the pressure. It was incredibly close this year:

Seniors: 1st equal (8 correct) Taurapa and Rauawa

Middles: 1st Hiwi (11 correct)

Juniors: 1st Tauihu (19 correct)

Overall winner: Taurapa! Congratulations!

Waka points:

Each term students earn points for their waka through their RICHER behaviour. At the end of the term we add up the points to see which waka wins the trophy for the term. Our winners for Term 1 and 2 were:
