Whaea Nadine is our newly appointed School Counsellor.

Tēnā kautau i ngā whānau o te Kura o James Cook.My name is Nadine Wallace, I am a counsellor in schools, my place of mahi is Family Works Whanganui.I have been a practicing “Counsellor” since the womb, but a certified Counsellor from 2017.My counselling expertise range from childhood trauma, to managing behaviour, to loss and grief and a few more things in between.I am originally from Whanganui. I’ve been almost everywhere within the North Island of Aotearoa and Australia, and now I am home.I am a wife, a mother of 4, a grandmother of 16 and a great-grandmother of 1.It is my life experiences that bring me to your kura to work alongside your babies.Nāku ake noa Nadine.
