Celebrating our ākonga
This year our big focus is around endeavour. Endeavour is about trying, having the courage to try again when things are hard and the strength to ask for help when we need it.
Every day in every classroom ākonga are endeavouring to be their best selves, best learners, best friends, best students, best sharers, best listeners and best talkers! (best everything!). It is our job as teaching professionals to ensure every ākonga has an opportunity to experience success every day and to celebrate the progress and success along the way.
As school reports go home, remember, learning is hard. It is a long and lifetime journey. Let's take time to celebrate the steps along the way.
