Kia ora koutou, I am Whaea Tessa, the new teacher in Room 7.

I am originally from Tauranga, but settled in Palmerston North during my years of study at Massey University.

I have been working with kids since I was a teenager, holding sports coaching and co-ordinating roles, and am excited to finally settle into my first teaching position.

I have enjoyed meeting my new classroom and the wider school community. Please feel free to pop into Room 7 to come and meet me too. 

We welcome Carter Maniapoto-Barbarich and his brother Chayce.  We also welcome back Nyah O'Neill who has returned back to us from Marton School.  We welcome you and your whānau.

Next time we will introduce Whaea Nadine who is our school counsellor.  Whaea Nadine has spent two days with us and is getting to know our students and staff.
