Celebrating our ākonga

What a privilege to hold a gold token assemblies.  We have a 3/4 full container of tokens ākonga have earned with exemplary behaviour.  There are two more gold token assemblies, week 8 and week 10.  Congratulations to:

Week 4: 
Aria Torrie - giant squishmellow
Van Fellingham - a blue and gold football
Opie Anderson - a bright colourful basketball

Our wonderful staff also went into a special staff draw.  

Week 4s recipient was our hard working caretaker - Mr Paul Knight, who won movie tickets to Focal Point Cinema in Feilding.

Michael Mattocks for applying the research skills you are learning in your Shark reading task. You understand how to summarise key information.

Cassidy Edwards for the endeavour you are showing with your spelling. You are noticing how the sounds you are learning in your reading help you to spell.

Room 8:
Ngaire-Rose Ratana for showing enthusiasm in all of the learning areas.

Vitana Elia for endeavouring with her skipping skills. Congratulations for achieving the double under!

Room 9:
Lincoln Jansen has been working consistently with his maths measurement tasks and he has been spending quite a bit of his free time endeavouring to finish all of his work.

Jacob Hodge has been highly engaged with his Mathematics learning this week.

Kimiora Rowe and Grace Fairburn for working well together to create an interesting poster about the life cycle of the snail. Well done!

Room 7:

Nevaeh Katene Rakatairi-Jetson for the cooperation you showed when working with others in skipping.  It was awesome to see you taking turns and encouraging others.

Patience Rowe for the effort you are putting into your spelling. You are using your letter sounds and try until you spell the words right.

Room 4:
Noah Sorenson
for writing the basic words in his stories on his own.
Faaolataga Seigafo for using writing simple sentences in his written language.

Room 9:

Logan Puia for working diligently at all curriculum areas and he is striving to instantly recall his basic facts.
