We welcome the opportunity to get to meet our whānau.

As mentioned on the school app last week, Wednesday 21 February has been set aside for ‘Huakina Mai’ - our doors are open for you to come and meet us.

As we did last year, rather than individual meetings with the teacher, multiple groups of parents will be able to come in and ‘mingle’ with the teacher as well as have some 1 on 1 time over a period of an hour.

The hour will consist of;

• Introductions between teacher and whānau

• Looking around the classroom and finding out about programmes of learning, expectations and routines.

• Assistance with setting up the school app (if you do not have it on your phone) and subscribing to your child/ren’s class/es.

• Sharing information with the teacher that will help with your child having a positive year.

• Setting/sharing of goals.

When you are satisfied with the time spent in the classroom you are welcome to enjoy a free sausage sizzle, have a swim in the school pool, look around the school and meet other staff.
