Across Aotearoa NZ THIS Friday 18 March is officially Little Heart Day - a fundraiser for children with serious heart conditions.

Due to the ongoing effect of Omicron, we have cancelled the annual school picnic at Cornwallis BUT never fear, the House Leaders and Miss Morris are organising some fun activities at school on FRIDAY 18 MARCH.

Throughout the day, students will come to the field in their learning area groups and participate in some challenges/games, earning house points and having some fun. They will also need to bring with them a gold coin as a donation to Heart Kids NZ. Students are to wear their house colours to school that day. The clothes they wear need to be suitable for playing games in. 

This year there will not be a parade of “Best Dressed.” We will get back to that in 2023!! 😊 When children are not out playing games, their normal class programme will continue. 

This day is for STUDENTS ONLY – sorry, Mum, Dad, aunty, koro, etc – you can join us when we picnic again in 2023. 😎
