Last week our Year 5 students took part in a Mission Minded Kids (MMK) course run by Asianoutreachnz. The children had a great time learning about different cultures, "the great commission" and the persecuted church. Plus they have been challenged to be missions-focused right here and now in their own community! One way they're doing that is by fundraising at the upcoming Market Day, to provide warm jackets and boots (Winter Kits) for children living in poverty, in Mongolia. Please pray with us that the MMK content will inspire our tamariki and help them to develop a mission-mindset...some of them may even be our future cross-cultural missionaries that serve in "unreached" places overseas...Lord, have your way in these children!
