Easter Service; Chapel set around the cross.
This year the Chapel was set up in a circle around a narrow stage where Jesus, (AKA Joe Garry) acted out the Easter story while Michael Sewell and Luke Nie narrated the story from the Bible.
In this short but moving service the story was interspersed with 500 boys singing verses from the old Afro-American spiritual, "Were you there when they crucified my Lord" accompanied by a lone violin played by Mr Geoff Murdoch. As the boys silently filed out of the Chapel Dr Craig Preston playing the piano, joined the violin. A big thanks too to our property team, Duncan and John for their work in rearranging the chapel.
