Year 13 IB students during an English class. by Chris Knopp

An invitation to all Year 11's

Yr 11 students and their parents are invited to an information evening next Thursday to hear about the opportunities and challenges that the IB Diploma at McGlashan can offer.

The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students for success at university and in life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students.

The programme has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities. John McGlashan College became an authorized school in 1999 and have had hundreds of our students graduate with the Diploma.

Further information will be mailed out to parents of Year 11 students later this week.   We will also hold an information evening next Thursday from 7-8pm in the school chapel.  For further information please contact Chris Knopp (IB Coordinator) chris@mcglashan.school.nz
