OSSSA Duathlon, Taieri North.
The OSSSA Duathlon was recently held at Taieri North.
John McGlashan College had thee individual and two team entries. In the Junior team event, Ben Mitchell (run) and Cameron Moran (bike) had a hard fought battle with the Cromwell team of Bailey Scott (run) and Bob Wardill (bike) and finished tied for 1st position in a time of 32 mins 10 secs.
In the individual Junior race, Nick Chamberlain also had a strong performance, finishing second with a time of 40mins 35 secs.
In the senior age group our team of Oli Chignell (run) and Joshua Preston (bike) finished 4th with a time of 45mins 21 secs. Henry Sullivan and Lochie Chittock finished in 3rd and 4th position in the individual senior event with times of 48mins 59 sec and 50mins 23sec respectively.
