Are pencil cases likely to be a thing of the past in the John McGlashan College classroom?

The John McGlashan College rowing squad has grown, both in strength and numbers, culminating  in the most successful season in the history of the college.

Bernard Mangakahia wowed students in an interactive show, celebrating "Mana - The Spirit of Polynesia".

The library was buzzing last week as the college enjoyed plenty of library craziness in its annual celebration of reading.

The JMC Gold cricket team enjoyed a wonderful week in Palmerston North in April having reached the NZCT Cup National Finals. 

 Golf team's combined scores give them a well-deserved third place in the Nett competition and a trophy for the John McGlashan College cabinet, including bronze medals for their players. 

Parents are invited to view the thought-provoking documentary "Screenagers", which will be screened in the John McGlashan Chapel on Thursday, June 2nd at 7.00pm.   

Some might call Adam as nutty as a fruitcake for getting up at 2am on a chilly Wednesday morning, but for him, his time at Spelt Bakery has been the best thing since sliced bread.  

Staff will be conducting career interviews with Year 10 students and their parents so that the boys can begin to discuss their potential learning pathways as they transition into the senior school.

The McGlashan Water Polo team had a successful trip to Invercargill finishing fourth out of 15 teams in the South Island Water Polo Tournament.

Courtland Ellis, Ben Carr, Geoffrey Kemp, and David Cannon attended the swimming competition in Wellington from the 18th-22nd April, with some outstanding results.

Ever wanted to learn a musical instrument?

The McGlashan swim team had a hugely successful time at the Otago Primary and Secondary Schools Swimming Championships, on the 8th-9th April, with 12 of the 19 competitors  qualifying for finals. 

The Tenth of May saw the annual Logan Park road race take place, again with high success from our John McGlashan team.
