Year 12 Physics Trip to Christchurch

For the last few years, our Year 12 Physics students have gone to Christchurch for a 2-day trip, which includes a visit to the University of Canterbury. 

Students use the equipment at the university to carry out experiments with radioactive sources, as well as watch several super-cool demonstrations (literally in the case of the liquid Nitrogen experiments which are -200oC). 

We are also planning to go ice skating and go-karting as they both relate to the course this year. This trip has already been postponed this year but Miss Lindsay is doing everything she can to help the trip go ahead as the students always have such positive feedback and it helps support their learning.
